RIP Suger Mouse

Unfortunatly, Suger Mouse was put to sleep on Friday 30th April. She had a large internal tumor that eventually started to press against her lungs, so it was kinder to let her sleep forever.

She will be very sorely missed, as she was one of my first mice

R.I.P Molly Rat

Unfortunatly, I found Molly Curled up outside a nest in the explorer cage last night, she had obviosly fallen asleep and drifted off some point yesterday afternoon surrounded by her friends.

She will be sorely missed by everyone here but can now run free at the Rainbow Bridge young and healthy again

More Lumps :(

Well some more sad news in The Whiskery this week.

Firstly we found another lump on Molly, my old pet-shop girl, right under her arm, so another mammary tumor we all think. I am so devestated as she was one of my first rats, but she seems OK in herself at the moment, eating, drinking and being a rat, so I don't think her time is just yet.

Secondly, I found another lump, in exactly the same place, on my overweight year old doe Maggie, so she should hopefully be able to have an op and be right-as-rain soon.

so obviosly not the best news I have had in one week, but then again, we will just make Molly comfortable and book Maggie in next week to get checked out my the vet

Sid, my old boy gerbil, born roughly May 2007, loves scritches before running off to chew something else ;)









Alf, Sid's brother, now deceased a few months ago of old age :( He and his brother were my first ever pets, and its they that introduced me to rodents and for that I will always be grateful.

Well, continuing on from my previous post, I present

The Whiskery Mice

Suger, my old pet shop doe, about 1.5 years old so getting on a bit,











Daphne, another old doe, a self black with a white tail tip, She came from a breeder nearby with her sister Dori (RIP) and Companion Pheobe (RIP. Daphne is just over a year old now.









Bean, one of my new mice, a gorgeous black tan girl, from a breeder friend of mine, she is still very young, 8/9 weeks old and jumping round the place like popcorn











Bubble, a dove tan girly, sister to Bean and just as mad !











well, thats the mice. We are currently going through introductions for these meeces, its going quite well, everyone is in one nest now, hurrah !!
